A renovated, art-filled beach house a short stroll across the road via a beach access path to the middle of Whiritoa Beach. Just 200m from the surf club and surf patrol.

Recently brought back to life: a new kitchen, fresh paint and decor, and new carpets throughout. Original artworks hang on every wall, so it feels more like a small gallery you can cook in than a holiday rental. Modern, fresh, and nothing like the usual beach house.

Whiritoa is a classic Coromandel surf beach with white sand, a lagoon at the north end and a patrolled swimming area in summer. The surf club is a 200m walk away.

Day trips

Whangamatā. Cafés, surf shops and the harbour, 15 minutes south-east.
Waihī. Gold-mining history and Waihī Beach, 20 minutes south.
Karangahake Gorge. Tunnels, rail trail and swing bridges, 35 minutes away.
